Thank you for visiting ACE OF SNAKES. Our names are Joe and Annette and we both share the same passion for animals since we were very young. We have two children and they too are quickly developing our same passion.
When we first met, we decided to buy a pet together. We had no idea what we wanted but it had to be small and low maintenance. As we walked around a reptile store a little snake caught our eye. We have never seen this kind of snake before and we thought it was pretty neat. We ended up buying 2 of them, a male Western Hognose and a female Western Hognose.
We were definitely not as educated about snakes back then as we are now. Also, we didn’t know that our male Hognose ended up being a female! With extensive research, talking to the right people and educating ourselves more about all kinds of snakes, our collection began to grow. We soon began to look for uniqueness and morphs in our future snakes.
